Organizers continue to build on the growing event and have added new features this year.
Announcements will begin at 5 p.m. on the south side of the courthouse.
Parade lineup to begin at 5 p.m. around the ConAgra parking lot between North and Arrow streets, English and Salt Pond avenues.
Marshall Cultural Council, with support from Wood & Huston Bank, will serve cookies and cocoa in the Wood & Huston Community Room before and during the parade.
At 5:15 p.m., Broadway Bound Dance group is slated to perform on the south side of courthouse in Arrow Street.
At 5:30 p.m., Shapes Dance & Acro group is slated to perform on the south side of courthouse in Arrow Street.
At 5:45 p.m., the parade grand marshal will be introduced, there will be a tree lighting ceremony and Marshall Community Chorus will perform, all at the southwest corner of the courthouse square.
The parade will start at 6 p.m. The route will begin at the corner of Salt Pond and Arrow, proceeds east on Arrow, north on Jefferson, west on North, south on Lafayette, west on Court and ending at ConAgra parking lots. It will go around the square completely except from Court Street to Arrow.
At 6:30 p.m., Marshall Dance Connection will perform on the south side of courthouse in Arrow Street.
After the parade, children can visit with Santa in courthouse rotunda. Enter through the south door and exit the north. They will also be writing letters to Santa and making ornaments. Pictures by Epsilon XI will be available or families are free to use their own cameras.
At 6:45 p.m., coloring contest winners will be announced followed by parade winners, window decorating winner, Ethics in Action winner and a ham and turkey will be given away.
At 7:15 p.m. Marshall Cinema will offer a free showing of "How the Grinch Stole Christmas."
