A twenty-year-old Marshall woman was arrested Thursday, Nov. 29, after she was pulled over for driving in the middle of a gravel road with an obstructed view.
According to a report from Saline County Sheriff's Department, an officer observed her traveling north on Magnolia Avenue in a yellow Ford Focus. Apparently, the vehicle was in the center of the roadway while the driver's vision was obstructed by a hill.
The officer smelled marijuana in the vehicle, according to the report, and the driver stated she had smoked earlier in the day. Upon a search of the vehicle, the officer discovered an L&M brand cigarette package containing a partially smoked marijuana cigarette, the report stated. Additionally, her purse contained a glass pipe with residue.
Two passengers were in the vehicle at the time.
