Kingsville Livestock Auction: Cattle Auction Report for 11/20/2012

Receipts:  1874    Last Week:  2401    Year Ago:  1923

   Compared to last week, feeders sold mostly steady to 4.00 lower except
600 to 650 lb steers firm to 4.00 higher.  Supply was moderate and included
one load lot of 912 lb steers.  Demand was moderate to good best at mid-sale.
Cows and bulls were 26 percent of receipts.  In the feeder supply, steers
and bulls were 60 percent of the run; heifers 40 percent.  Near 42 percent
of feeders weighed over 600 lbs.  Slaughter cows sold 1.00 to 2.00 higher.
There will be a Show-Me Select heifer sale plus a special cow sale this
Saturday.

   Feeder Steers:  Medium and Large 1  400-500 lbs 163.50-184.50; 500-
600 lbs 152.75-171.00; 600-700 lbs 151.85-158.50, thin 603 lbs 162.00;
700-800 lbs 140.10-148.60; pkg 803 lbs 137.50; load lot 912 lbs 139.50.
Medium and Large 1-2  pkg thin 343 lbs 209.00; few 350-400 lbs 168.00-
