Receipts:  764    One Week Ago:  544    Year Ago:  948

   Compared to last week, steers under 600 lbs and heifers under 500 lbs
sold steady; heavier weights sold 3.00 to 4.00 higher.  Supply was moderate
with several fleshier calves in the run.  Demand was good.  Slaughter
cows traded steady to 2.00 higher.  Cows and bulls were 20 percent of
receipts.  In the feeder supply, steers and bulls were 62 percent of the
run; heifers 38 percent.  Near 39 percent of feeders weighed over 600 lbs.

   Feeder Steers:  Medium and large 1  300-400 lbs 178.00-188.00; 400-
500 lbs  160.00-179.00; 500-600 lbs 150.00-158.00; 630-700 lbs 144.00-
151.75; lot 721 lbs 148.00; pkg 841 lbs 141.50.  Medium and Large 1-2
pkg 337 lbs 184.00; 400-500 lbs 155.00-175.00; 500-600 lbs 140.75-154.50;
pkg 647 lbs 140.00; lot 46 hd 852 lbs 137.00.

   Feeder Heifers:  Medium and Large 1  300-400 lbs 152.00-165.00; 400-
500 lbs 142.00-153.00; 500-550 lbs 138.00-146.50; few 665-700 lbs 138.50-
139.00.  Medium and Large 1-2  300-400 lbs 149.00-160.00; 400-500 lbs
141.00-148.00; 500-600 lbs 135.00-136.00; 600-700 lbs 134.00-137.00.

   Feeder Bulls:  Medium and Large 1-2  330-400 lbs 178.00-186.50; 400-
500 lbs 147.00-167.00; 500-600 lbs 131.00-147.00; 600-650 lbs 123.50-
