Newscope: Blunt's staff to host listening post at courthouse

U.S. Sen. Roy Blunt's staff will host a listening post session Tuesday, Nov. 13, from 11 a.m. to noon at the Saline County Courthouse.

Listening posts are intended to provide Missourians a chance to share their questions and concerns during meetings with members of Blunt's staff.

Blunt's Jefferson City office also extends one-on-one service to all Missourians who have an issue with a federal agency or need additional assistance.

It is really great that a "staff member" of Senator Blunt spends two (2) hours from Jeff to "listen" for one hour to the concerns of local taxpayers. Now that is effective use of time! Why not host an event for two-three hours; dinner or at least snacks. This guy is a big spender!! Further, Let's be clear: he really dosen't want to hear OUR complaints; this is all show! He & his staff have a budget of at least ONE MILLION BUCKS! ONE HUNDRED SENATORS = AT LEAST TEN BILLION. NOW ADD 435 CONGRESSMAN! HOW CAN WE ATFFORD ALL THIS GOVERNING?
