Richard Carl Binger, 85, of Marshall, died Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012, at Mar-Saline Manor in Marshall.

Private memorial graveside services with military rites will be held at Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville. Memorials may be made to family choice in care of Campbell-

Born Feb. 26, 1927, in Colville, Wash., he was the son of the late Carl Binger and Lydia O. Rork Binger. He was a lifetime member of the American Legion and served in the U.S. Navy

construction battalion during World War II. He was a logger and long-haul trucker for most of his life.

Survivors include one son; four daughters; fourteen grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters.
