   No recent auction to compare to as a standing room only crowd, 
consisting of several sellers, buyers and on-lookers, watched the action 
as the gavel dropped on the first sale under new ownership. Demand 
moderate. Supply consisted of 80 percent feeders and 20 percent cows and 
bulls. The feeder offering consisted of 55 percent steers and bulls, 45 
percent heifers and 48 percent of the feeders were over 600 lbs.

   Feeder Steers:  Medium and Large 1  300-400 lbs 174.00-187.00; 400-500 
lbs 163.00-175.50; 500-600 lbs few 159.50-162.00; 600-700 lbs 144.25-
158.25; pkg 799 lbs 144.00. Medium and Large 1-2  350-400 lbs 158.00-
165.00; 400-500 lbs 154.00-168.00; 500-600 lbs 145.00-157.00; 600-700 lbs
