Receipts:  1357    Last Week:  1205    Year Ago:  2143

   Compared to last week, steers 400-600 lbs sold 3.00 to 4.00 higher;
heavier steers sold 2.00 to 5.00 lower based on a few comparable sales;
heifers sold mostly 1.00 to 4.00 lower.  Supply was moderate with a high
quality test of calves but few yearlings.  Demand was good to very good
with mostly active trade.  Slaughter cows traded steady to 2.00 lower.
Cows and bulls were 21 percent of receipts.  In the feeder supply, steers
and bulls were 64 percent of the run; heifers 36 percent.  Near 31 percent
of feeders weighed over 600 lbs.

   Feeder Steers:  Medium and Large 1  400-500 lbs 165.25-184.00, 431 lbs
thin 190.25; 500-600 lbs 156.00-180.00, 511 lbs fancy 187.00; 600-700 lbs
144.75-161.00; 700-750 lbs 142.50-150.85; pkg 816 lbs 146.60; pkg 872 lbs
141.50.  Medium and Large 1-2  335-400 lbs 174.50-180.00; 400-500 lbs

600-650 lbs 139.50-149.85; 700-720 lbs 138.75-140.50; pkg 928 lbs 123.00.
