Receipts:  780    Week Ago:  656    Year Ago:  707

   Compared to last week, calves under 600 lbs sold steady with a few
selling 1.00 to 2.00 lower; six weight steers and heifers sold steady to
4.00 higher; heavier weights were lightly tested.  Supply was moderate
with a nice quality test of calves.  Demand was good with an active trade.
Slaughter cows traded near steady.  Cows and bulls were 19 percent of
receipts.  In the feeder supply, steers and bulls were 61 percent of the
run; heifers 39 percent.  Near 23 percent of feeders weighed over 600 lbs.

   Feeder Steers:  Medium and large 1  300-400 lbs 185.00-193.50; 400-
500 lbs  167.50-181.00; 500-600 lbs 154.25-167.00; 600-700 lbs 146.50-
156.50; few 700-735 lbs 143.00-145.00; 900-925 lbs 128.25-128.50.  Medium
and Large 1-2  335-400 lbs 172.00-185.00; 400-500 lbs 160.00-174.00; 500-
600 lbs 146.00-163.00; few 600-625 lbs 148.50-152.00; few 720-730 lbs

   Feeder Heifers:  Medium and Large 1  335-400 lbs 165.00-174.00; 400-
500 lbs 142.00-161.00; 500-600 lbs 135.00-147.00; few 620-640 lbs 134.00-
137.25; few 700-735 lbs 134.00-135.00.  Medium and Large 1-2  300-400 lbs
