Marshall High School singers will perform their fall concert at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 11.

The concert in the Harold L. Lickey Auditorium at Bueker Middle School, 565 S. Odell Ave., will feature Freshman Chorus, MHS Singers and Choraliers.

"We had a surge in student enrollment this year and have 31 singers in Choraliers," Vocal Music Director Joel Schilb said. "It has been great to work with so many more students throughout the program who are willing to work and sing (and) enjoy being a part of something greater than themselves."

The program will feature songs from the early 1500s all the way up until this century, Schilb added.

"Those who come to the concert will hear sounds from the singers that are not just singing sounds," he said. "Each group will close their portion of the concert with a piece that is sure to leave the audience wanting more."
