The 44th Annual Heritage Craft Festival will feature historical crafts and demonstrations including spinning, weaving, blacksmithing, broom- and basket-making, flintknapping, rug-hooking, quilting, candle-dipping, applebutter-making and many other 19th century arts and crafts.

This year's festival will feature a special section showcasing some of Missouri's finest modern crafts. Local restaurants and shops, plus food vendors, live entertainment, fall flowers and pumpkins will set the mood for a unique shopping and educational experience.

The event is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 13-14. An old-time worship service will be held at 8:45 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 14, in the Christian Church. A $1 admission fee benefits the arts programs of the Historic Arrow Rock Council.

The Arrow Rock Heritage Craft Festival has limited space remaining for artisans who are willing to display and demonstrate heritage crafts and fine contemporary arts.

Interested craftsmen and artists should contact the HARC for more information or call Brenda at 660-837-3307.
