When owners of a local company apparently arrived to open for business Thursday, Oct. 4, they noticed some items had been missing.
An unknown amount of copper was apparently stolen from the company, located in downtown Marshall, sometime after it closed for business Wednesday evening. It was reported that business owners were still gathering inventory of their equipment Wednesday afternoon.
The Marshall Police Department is investigating the burglary and a suspect vehicle description was obtained, according to a report issued by MPD.
The vehicle is described as a white 1990's model full-sized van with blue trim. The van apparently has some type of storage compartment attached to the top, which is believed to be blue in color.
MPD asks that anyone with information regarding the vehicle contact Detective William McMellen at 660-886-7411.
