SWEET SPRINGS -- The Sweet Springs volleyball team came up with another victory Tuesday over an I-70 Conference foe with which it has historically had difficulty.
Senior Rebecca Tyler had 10 digs and 15 assists to lead the Lady Greyhounds to a come-from-behind 19-25, 25-14, 25-22 home win over Concordia.
Senior Mikalah Vogelsmeier knocked down five shots for the Lady 'Hounds, who got three kills each from senior Kaitlyn Fuehring and sophomores Olivia Loges and Ashleigh Bright. Junior Christina Higgins served up three aces.
The Lady Orioles (10-6-2, 3-2 I-70) were led by senior Hailee Langkrahr's nine kills and 18 saves by senior Katlin Murray.
Fuehring and sophomore Megan Evans had a combined 13 digs for Sweet Springs (6-6-1, 2-3), which is the second seed in its pool Saturday for the I-70 Conference Tournament at Centerview.
