More than 1,000 area kindergarten to third-grade students attended the annual Monsanto Farm Safety Day on Sept. 27-28 in Marshall. Students rotated between 10 different stations where volunteers talked about various safety measures. The stations covered ATV, fire, gun, grain bin, health, water, food, railroad, lawnmower and seatbelt safety. Several different groups helped with the field day including Cargill, Missouri Highway Patrol, Missouri Department of Conservation, Marshall Parks Department and Marshall FFA.
