Receipts:  1067    Week Ago:  967    Year Ago:  549

   Compared to last week, steers and heifers under 700 lbs sold steady to
7.00 higher with a few three weights selling 9.00 to 10.00 higher; heavier
weights were not well tested.  Supply was moderate, demand good to very
good.  Slaughter cows traded steady to 2.00 lower.  Cows and bulls were
15 percent of receipts.  In the feeder supply, steers and bulls were
55 percent of the run; heifers 45 percent.  Near 19 percent of feeders weighed
over 600 lbs.

   Feeder Steers:  Medium and large 1  330-400 lbs 185.00-192.00; 400-
500 lbs  173.00-186.00; 500-600 lbs 154.50-175.00; 600-650 lbs 154.00-
158.00.  Medium and Large 1-2  300-400 lbs 179.00-186.00; 400-500 lbs
165.00-179.00; 500-600 lbs 153.00-163.00; 600-630 lbs 155.00-158.75; 700-
800 lbs 139.00-144.00.

   Feeder Heifers:  Medium and Large 1  340-400 lbs 164.00-178.00; 400-
500 lbs 147.00-158.00; 500-600 lbs 137.50-151.00; 600-700 lbs 137.00-
145.00.  Medium and Large 1-2  300-400 lbs 154.00-173.00; 400-500 lbs
145.00-159.00; 500-600 lbs 140.00-149.00; 665-685 lbs 134.00-136.00;
few 700-750 lbs 130.50-136.00.

   Feeder Bulls:  Medium and Large 1-2  300-400 lbs 176.00-188.00; 400-
500 lbs 161.00-173.00; 500-600 lbs 134.00-162.00; 600-700 lbs 121.00-
132.00.
