   Compared to last week, steers sold steady; heifers steady to 3.00
lower.  Supply was moderate to heavy, demand good to very good.  Slaughter
cows traded steady to 2.00 higher.  Cows and bulls were 25 percent of
receipts.  In the feeder supply, steers and bulls were 66 percent of the
run; heifers 34 percent.  Near 54 percent of feeders weighed over 600 lbs.

   Feeder Steers:  Medium and large 1  300-400 lbs 157.00-168.00; 400-
500 lbs  155.50-169.00; 500-600 lbs 144.00-161.00; 600-700 lbs 138.00-
144.00; 700-800 lbs 134.85-142.50; 800-855 lbs 132.50-137.50.  Medium and
Large 1-2  350-400 lbs 158.00-167.50; 400-500 lbs 147.00-159.50; 500-
