   Compared to last week, steers under 600 lbs sold mostly 3.00 to 9.00
higher; steers 600-800 lbs sold near steady; steers 800-900 lbs sold 4.00 to
5.00 higher; heifers under 500 lbs sold steady to 6.00 higher; heifers
500-700 lbs near steady; heifers over 700 lbs were not well tested last week.
Supply was moderate.  Demand was good to very good.  Slaughter cows sold 1.00
to 3.00 lower.  Cows and bulls were 30 percent of receipts.  In the feeder
supply, steers and bulls were 57 percent of the run; heifers 43 percent.
Near 58 percent of feeders weighed over 600 lbs.

   Feeder Steers:  Medium and Large 1  300-400 lbs 165.00-173.00; 400-
500 lbs 153.50-169.50; 500-600 lbs 154.50-170.10; 600-700 lbs 135.50-
142.00; two load lots 822 and 827 lbs 138.00; lot 827 lbs fleshy 126.60;
load lot 894 lbs 135.35.  Medium and Large 1-2  350-400 lbs 170.00-175.00;
400-500 lbs 143.00-172.00; 500-550 lbs 158.00-168.50; pkg 610 lbs 142.00;
lot 762 lbs 132.00.

   Feeder Heifers:  Medium and Large 1  300-400 lbs 147.00-166.50; 400-
500 lbs 135.00-154.00; 500-600 lbs 123.50-145.00; 620-655 lbs 124.00-128.75;
two load lots 703 and 704 lbs 135.00-137.00; pkg 725 lbs 126.75.  Medium and
Large 1-2  300-400 lbs 142.50-163.00; 400-500 lbs 130.00-148.50; 500-600 lbs
