Receipts:  565    Week Ago:  668    Year Ago:  266

   Compared to last week, steers sold 4.00 to 9.00 lower; heifers 3.00 to
7.00 lower.  Supply and demand were both light to moderate.  Slaughter
cows sold mostly 1.00 to 3.00 lower.  Cows and bulls were 28 percent of
receipts.  In the feeder supply, steers and bulls were 47 percent of the
run; heifers 53 percent.  Near 11 percent of feeders weighed over 600 lbs.

500 lbs 139.00-145.00; 500-600 lbs 132.50-140.00; 600-625 lbs 128.00-
