Chanelle Koehn/(Marshall Democrat-News) To achieve a race-ready mower, Helm stabilized the front end of his mower with a direct steering system. To increase the speed of the mower, Helm replaced the pulleys in the motor with a bigger pulley in the front and a smaller pulley in the back.
