Miami's Annual Pre-Fourth of July Celebration will be Saturday, June 30.
The event will begin with a parade at 5:30 p.m. Prizes will be awarded to the winning entrants. Participants are asked to line up at 5 p.m.
The cake walk will begin at 6 p.m., and dinner will be served at the Miami Community Center from 6 to 7:30 p.m. The menu will be fried chicken, potato salad, pimento cheese sandwich, chips, dessert and a drink. Adults may eat for $6, meals for children ages 7-12 will cost $3 and dinner for children ages six and under is free.
A drawing for a 50/50 cash prize will be at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $1 each or six for $5.
Fireworks will begin at dark.
