Marsha Dianne Sloan
Marsha Dianne Sloan, 37, of Lawson, passed away surrounded by her loving family at the North Kansas City Hospital on Friday, June 8, 2012, following a long battle with diabetes.
Marsha was born on Jan. 21, 1975, in Excelsior Springs. She was the daughter of Gene and Sandy (Richardson) Pringle of Lawson.
Marsha met her husband, William Sloan, in Excelsior Springs, on Jan. 31, 1993, at the age of 19. They were married on April 12, 1997, and to this union three children were born, Sabrice, 15, James, 12, and Sullivan 4 1/2.
William lovingly cared for Marsha and helped "The Love of His Life" fight her battle.
Those left to cherish loving memories of Marsha are her husband, William; her three children of the home; her parents, Gene and Sandy Pringle of Lawson; her grandmother, Ruby Pringle-Temple of Cameron; one brother, Travis Pringle, of Lawson; four sisters, Tish Veach and her husband, Kevin, Patty Pringle and Ritchie Grubb of Excelsior Springs, Donna Ballenger and her husband, Kevin, of Waverly, and Kara (Wyant) West of Kansas City; a sister-in-law and best friend, Gail Sloan; longtime family friend, Lillie Willis; nieces and nephews, Kamryn, Ryan, Samantha, Grant, McKenna, Heaven, Hunter, Mahlina, Kali, Daci, Cash, Brittany, Dylan, Austin, Sumaya and Sundaria; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
During her lifetime, Marsha touched the hearts of many, and she is still doing so by donating the gift of life by donating her heart after her passing.
Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 12, 2012, at the Community Alliance Bible Church in Lawson. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Polley Funeral Home in Lawson. Inurnment will follow at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you please donate to Polley Funeral Home for Expenses, to to the American Diabetes Association.
