Jerry A. Musser, 75, of Blytheville, Ark., died Thursday, May 31, 2012, St. Vincent's Infirmary Medical Center in Little Rock, Ark.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, June 4, 2012, at First United Methodist Church in Blytheville with Dr. Don Hall officiating. Visitation was held from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, June 3, 2012, at Cobb Funeral Home. Interment will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 6, 2012, in Malta Bend Cemetery with Pastor Crystal Karr officiating. Born in Bremen, Ind., he was the son of Paul Andrew and Venus Irene Ponader Musser. He married Linda Lunbeck Musser, formerly of Malta Bend, who survives of the home. He served in the United States Air Force and attended Valparaiso Technical Institute. He was a member of First United Methodist Church where he was a member of the choir, played the bass fiddle for the praise band and was a member of the Methodist Men. He was a charter member of St. Luke's Methodist Church in Kansas City. He was a member of the Blytheville Lion's Club and a former member of Kiwanis Club. He was co-owner and operator of Jeri-Lin Donuts.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Bob Musser of Winter Park, Fla., and Laura Martin of Blytheville; one sister, Barbara Lou Martino of Anderson, Ind.; and five grandchildren; seven great-grandsons.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Tom P. Musser.
