M. Frances Adams, 92, of Marshall, died Saturday, April 14, 2012, at Blue Hills Rest Home in Independence.
Memorial graveside services will be 1:30 p.m. Friday, May 18, 2012, at Keytesville City Cemetery in Keytesville, with William W. Harlow officiating. Born Dec. 25, 1919, in Keytesville, she was the daughter of the late Grover Shoemaker and Sarah Elizabeth Carter Shoemaker. On Oct. 16, 1937, she married Paul Eugene Adams who preceded her in death on July 3, 1992. She had lived in Marshall since 1993, previously living in Horseshoe Bend, Ark. and Salisbury. She was a longtime Avon representative and Tupperware manager, retiring in 1980 after 25 years.
Survivors include two daughters, Beverly Frances Wagner and her husband, Charles, of Panola, Texas, Vicki Belzer and her husband, Phillip, of Independence; four sons: Walter Paul Adams and his wife, Shirley, of Marshall, Kenneth Adams of Marshall, Ronald Adams and his wife, Cathi, of Phoenix, Ariz., and William Adams of Glasgow; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two brothers, William Shoemaker of Excelsior Springs and Ray Shoemaker of Salisbury; two sisters, Lorene Stephens of Salisbury and Willie Iona Whiting of the state of Iowa; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by several siblings.
