Receipts:  418    Week Ago:  712    Year Ago:  546

   Compared to last week, three-weight steer and bull calves sold 3.00 to
10.00 lower; other steer and bull calves near steady; heifer calves sold
steady to 3.00 lower with yearlings not tested.  Supply included numerous
bull calves with few yearlings.  Demand good to very good.  Slaughter cows
traded 2.00 to 3.00 lower compared to last weeks’ strong test.  Cows and bulls
were 15 percent of receipts.  In the feeder supply, steers and bulls were
55 percent of the run; heifers 45 percent.  Near 11 percent of feeders weighed
over 600 lbs.  There will not be a sale in two weeks (Memorial Day).

   Feeder Steers:  Medium and Large 1  300-400 lbs 195.00-218.50; 450-
500 lbs 180.00-186.25; 500-600 lbs 163.00-187.00; 600-700 lbs 152.00-162.00;
few 700-725 lbs 152.00.  Medium and Large 1-2  400-500 lbs 174.00-192.00; 500-
600 lbs 158.50-175.00; few 600-625 lbs 156.00-157.00.  Large 1  pkg 480 lbs
172.00.

   Feeder Heifers:  Medium and Large 1  pkg 315 lbs 187.00; 350-375 lbs 180.50-
183.00; 400-500 lbs 161.00-177.00; 500-600 lbs 149.00-158.50; 600-650 lbs
146.00-150.50.  Medium and Large 1-2  350-400 lbs 171.00-181.00; 400-500 lbs
159.00-174.00; 500-600 lbs 151.00-156.75; pkg 625 lbs 145.00.  Medium and
Large 2  510-530 lbs 142.00-145.50.
