Water service remains off for a half-dozen customers of Saline County Water District No. 3 Tuesday morning, April 10, after a line break about noon Monday, April 9, interrupted service over a wider area.
District representative George Dehn said crews are working to restore service to the remaining customers and have announced a boil order for the rest of the district for the next several days.
The boil order is a precautionary measure, he said, but it will take about two days to get the results from water tests.
He said the break apparently occurred at the Salt Fork Creek crossing.
