Wilma McCoy, 76, of Marshall, died Monday, March 5, 2012, at University Hospital in Columbia.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 10, 2012, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall, with William W. Harlow officiating. Visitation will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Ridge Park Cemetery in Marshall. Born June 4, 1935, in Protem, she was the daughter of the late Wilford Clarkson and Alice Persinger Clarkson. On March 23, 1951, she married Charles S. McCoy who survives of the home. She had lived in the Marshall area most of her life and retired from the Marshall Habilitation Center. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Slater.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Charlotte Leimkuehler and her husband, Randy, of Fayette; two grandchildren, Holly Burch and her husband, Doug, and Aaron Leimkuehler and his wife, Rachel; three sisters, Marie Prado of Hollister, Virginia Hemeyer of Warsaw and Carolyn Sue Wakeley of Springfield; one brother, Jim Clarkson of Marshall; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Randy McCoy and Chuck McCoy; and two sisters, Goldie Muller and Pauline Harris.
