Mike DeWitt, 40, of rural Marshall, died Wednesday, Feb. 29, 2012, at his home.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, March 3, 2012, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall, with William W. Harlow officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:30 to 3 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Sunset Gardens Cemetery in Marshall. Memorials may be made to family choice. Born Feb. 29, 1972, in Marshall, he was the son of the late Carl Dean DeWitt and Nina Cornine Foster, who survives of Marshall. He had lived in Marshall most of his life and worked at the Marshall Habilitation Center.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by one sister, Jeanie Alfrey and her husband, Jeff, of Marshall; one niece, Hannah Alfrey; one nephew, Luke Alfrey; stepfathers, Gene Foster and Bernie Hedrick, both of Marshall; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He had a special bond with Jacob Crusha.
