Robert "Bob" William Kuhn, Sr. 79, of Desert Hot Springs, Calif., formerly of Marshall, died Friday, Feb. 17, 2012, at Indio Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Memorial graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 3, 2012, at Ridge Park Cemetery in Marshall, with William W. Harlow officiating. Born Jan. 15, 1933, in Marshall, he was the son of the late Leo A. Kuhn and Betty M. Narron Kuhn. He was a graduate of Marshall High School and Missouri Valley College, where he received a bachelors degree in business. He retired as vice-president of sales with the Dodson Insurance Group.
Survivors include two children, Lt. Col. (RET) Robert William Kuhn Jr. and his wife, Ronda, of Niceville, Fla., and Gina Marie Robinson and her husband, Clifford, of Freeland, Md.; five grandchildren, Brandon and Mitchell Kuhn and Katie, Drew and Garrett Robinson; one sister, Juanita Copenhaven of Kansas City; one brother, Charles Leroy Kuhn of Rosamond, Calif.; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Ralph Kuhn Jr. and Farrell Kuhn.
