Linda L. Page, 74, of Slater, died Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2012, at her home.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 3, 2012, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Slater, with Fr. Richard Frank officiating. Burial will be in Slater City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jeff Chapuis, Chris Peuster, Lawton Johnson, Johnny Johnson, Jerry Giger and Clay Sellmeyer. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 2, 2012, at Weiker Funeral Home in Slater. A prayer service will be held at 8 p.m. Memorials are suggested to St. Joseph Catholic Church or Fitzgibbon-Mary Montgomery Hospice.

Born Nov. 13, 1937, in Marshall, she was the daughter of the late Jerome and Loretta Hagedorn Sellmeyer. On Dec. 29, 1956, in Slater, she married John A. Page III, who preceded her in death on June 28, 1998. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and its Altar and Rosary Sodality. She was an active 4-H leader for many years.

She is survived by a son, Michael Page and his wife, Emily, of Marshall; four daughters, Susan Peuster of Slater, Jane Chapuis and her husband, Charlie, of Louisiana, Karen Riddle and her companion, Mark Heilman, of Slater, and Lori Johnson and her husband, Jim, of rural Slater; eleven grandchildren, Shellee Peuster and her companion, Aaron Smith, Chris Peuster, Jeff Chapuis and his fiancÚ, Katelyn Francka, Laura Greenley and her husband, Eric, Mindee Grimes and her husband, Ryan, Becky Riddle and her companion, Chris Giger, Nikki Riddle, Matti Page, Kerrigan Page, Lawton Johnson and Johnny Johnson; and three great-granddaughters, Rylan, Emilee and Tanlea Grimes.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by an infant son, John Stephen Page; two brothers, Charles Sellmeyer and Robert Sellmeyer; and two sisters, Ruth Giger and Juanita Siladi.
