For local school boards there will be races in Blackwater, Orearville and Sweet Springs. Deborah Waller, Bobbie Renfrow, Tonya D. Holder and Paula Danner will race for two, three year terms in Blackwater.
In Sweet Springs Cindi Sims, Darla Reid, Marc W. Johnson and Bruce Hoyes will race for two, three-year seats.
Many are running unopposed, and therefore no election will be held.

Eric, don't write-in's have to declare themselves and by a certain date before they are counted?

All that belly aching about the Marshall school board, but no one contests the candidates. Why is that?
Why "no election" in Marshall (map)? Aren't write-in candidates allowed?
