rr3: "Can we have utopia without sacrificing liberty and freedom?"

We can't have utopia under any circumstance. We have had liberty, and freedom, and can once again if only we will once again confine citizenship to living, breathing humans.

I would rather grant citizenship to pet dogs than corporations. At least most of them would be friendly, and devoted to humans.

-- Posted by Oklahoma Reader on Tue, Jan 31, 2012, at 2:05 PM

Can we have utopia without sacrificing liberty and freedom?

-- Posted by rr3yv0 on Tue, Jan 31, 2012, at 11:03 AM

What do you do with that?

-- Posted by rr3yv0 on Tue, Jan 31, 2012, at 11:02 AM

rr3yvo.

I don't believe you. Again I'll ask, where is your contempt for Bush / Cheney?

-- Posted by What the f...... on Tue, Jan 31, 2012, at 10:18 AM

I wouldn't pray that way for anybody wtf not even you.

-- Posted by rr3yv0 on Tue, Jan 31, 2012, at 6:09 AM

Over 6 billion dollars of new debt in 3 years. What do you do with that?

Over 1,000 days without a budget to hide their(Reid and Obama) taxpayer funded spending spree. What do you do with that?

Total incompetence and lack of leadership in the White House. What do you do with that?

What will this president campaign on? Successes? Smearing and tearing down his opponent? You decide.

-- Posted by rr3yv0 on Tue, Jan 31, 2012, at 6:08 AM

Thanks for the correction Upsedaisy. I was hyperbolic with the death bed statement. I felt a bit uneasy when I wrote it, and should have checked it. I wasn't certain she was on her death bed, but lazily rationalized that her general circumstance was very bad, and it didn't really change the tenor of his despicable action. Maybe it was all to the good, for it resulted in your providing the food stamp bit.

After all that, the bottom line is my bad.

It is good to see you posting more often again. I look forward to your next post.

-- Posted by Oklahoma Reader on Tue, Jan 31, 2012, at 12:47 AM

OKR,

Reading your comment on Gingrich's deplorable treatment of his previous wives, you noted "his first wife was on her death bed,".

First wife and Mother of their two daughters, was being treated for cancer. It was a hugely difficult time for her and the two girls. Fortunately for the girls she did live and is living today. But his first wife and daughters were dependent upon food stamps and their church family to have food on their table after Newt's departure. It doesn't seem to come to his mind when Newt calls Obama, the food stamp president.

Newt also went after the media for their alleged slurs, "Party girl" comments on second wife, Marianne.

Remember too, how pleased he was when he heard Connie Chung was interviewing his Mother. Not so happy when Mama obliquely called Mrs. Clinton, "a b---h."

Come out swinging, Newt!

Further rr3, I am also proud of you because you finally understand that when your Savior said, "But when you give a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind, and you will be blessed." he did not differentiate by why they were poor, it was enough justification to help simply because they were poor. Whew! What took you so long?

-- Posted by Oklahoma Reader on Mon, Jan 30, 2012, at 8:38 PM

rr3yvo,

I bet you do pray for him everyday but I suspect you probably pray for him fail or to meet an untimely end.

-- Posted by What the f...... on Mon, Jan 30, 2012, at 3:50 PM

Jesus would probably say the same rr3. That may be the first time I have heard you express your self so selflessly. As News Across would say, bless his departed soul, "Good on you Mate!"

"But when you give a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind, and you will be blessed." (Luke 14:13)

I think I will get this t-shirt that says,

"I work hard because millions of people on welfare depend on me".

-- Posted by rr3yv0 on Mon, Jan 30, 2012, at 3:12 PM

I do wtf, everyday. If truth is insulting then I am sorry. They say that truth hurts, maybe they are right.

Over 6 billion dollars of new debt in 3 years. What do you do with that?

-- Posted by rr3yv0 on Mon, Jan 30, 2012, at 2:59 PM

rr3yvo,

Then why don't you pray for him instead of insulting him in a newspaper blog? BTW, where is your contempt for Bush / Cheney? Do you conisder them successful for our country?

-- Posted by What the f...... on Mon, Jan 30, 2012, at 1:23 PM

Oh the dither that is about to occur. The far right is about to turn themselves inside out. Can't you just see their faces scrunched up as they do a little mantra; Black guy, or Mormon, Mormon, or Black guy. I can't wait to see how they deal with their conflicting prejudices.

We all know how they feel about Obama, and why. How will they react to "Jesus is the brother of the Devil", "Jesus did not pay for all sins", "Jesus is created", and a myriad of other differences percieved as true by fundamentalist Christians? http://carm.org/mormon-objections-answer...

Mitt Romney avows that he is a true believer in Mormonism. How can the extreme right embrace that?

Are they now praying that Newt Gingrich will by some miracle beat Romney? If so, they must be squirming about that too. Gingrich, who is a serial adulterer who told his first wife as she laid cancer ridden on her death bed that he was going to divorce her, suckled at Fannie Mae's teat, and was driven from Congress for ethics abuses, is not a likely subject for miracles.

Maybe they will just gnaw their arms off to keep from beating their brains out from the frustration. Considering their record, that would not be altogether surprising.

-- Posted by Oklahoma Reader on Mon, Jan 30, 2012, at 1:17 PM

I could care less what color he is, he is a hypocrite and utter failure for this country. Seems that the liberals always want to play the race card when we don't like their guy. Why is that?

-- Posted by rr3yv0 on Mon, Jan 30, 2012, at 12:29 PM

Before Mr. Obama was president he made a comment about the some 9 billion that we were in debt then. He said, "that is irresponsible and unpatriotic". What do you do with that? How do you keep carrying water for this guy? You've heard of being 'up a creek without a paddle' well we are going down the creek to a great big waterfall and there will be no survivors.

The law firm of Roberts, Alito, Scalia, Thomas, and Associates is vastly under paid. They, the most influential legal minds in America represent the interests of the wealthiest of citizens (corporations), without charging their clients a dime. It may be that they are getting hidden fees somewhere along the line. Naw, that couldn't be.

People at the bottom of the economic scale get no better deal than the richest. In fact they often get a worse deal. Legal aid societies generally try to squeeze a little something out of their clients, if they have a few spare dollars after pay day (sliding scale). Guess what is really sliding, and where. ;)

RR3: If your asking a Liberal to choose between Entitlements or Opportunity i think my answer would be both, like we had when i was growing up in the late 30 & 40,! When we had some Patriotic people running things!Seems every time the Conservatives take over every thing go's to hell for everything, and everyone! There's no starting place anymore, for the Young People. When all they see is Lie's ,Red Tape,Deception! The Government going back on their word to the People! Trying to Privatize every thing! If i were young again and had to serve this Country,it wouldn't be in Korea again,it would be to take back this Country! (A word too the young) of this Country,do all you can to rid ourselves of these kinds of Politicians!

-- Posted by Jo on Sat, Jan 28, 2012, at 3:12 PM

I guess if you keep on making the same wish it may eventually come true. I think I have a solution to the political mess. Come November let's not vote for individuals let's just vote straight party. It could be Democrats, Republicans, Tea Party, Independent, Green, Liberal, Conservative, etc. It doesn't really matter but you would vote for whatever party you favor. Then the president and congress would all be of the winning party. Then they could do whatever they want but would realize that in 4 years they could all be out of work if the people voted for another party. That would eliminate some of the blame game that goes on now and just maybe they would actually do some of the things that they promise that they will do. Just a thought!

-- Posted by rr3yv0 on Sat, Jan 28, 2012, at 2:57 PM

rr3yvo,

Why don't you admit what your real problem with the president is? Seems obvious to me but I wonder if you are aware? All these probelms we are currently enjoying started long before this man became president. He walked into some of the most proflic problems in the history of our country.

He cannot snap his fingers and make them go away and he has no magic wand. If anything he needs our help in demanding that our representatives work with him and not hinder every move he makes.

President Obama did not create these problems he's just the lucky guy that get's to deal with them. Your comments say more about you then they say about our president or his family. Where's you outrage for Bush/Cheney? You say you are a Christian and these men killed thousands of innocent people. Where is your outrage for them?

-- Posted by What the f...... on Sat, Jan 28, 2012, at 10:50 AM

Obama's speech chocked full of lies because he knows the media will not call him on it. He's laughing that the American people are actually stupid enough to believe this stuff and will probably vote for him again.

To my Conservative brothers, and sisters who post, and/or read here. I don't say this very often, but please read the commentary at the following link.

Are you disconcerted that Romney, a man that only 25% of you prefer, a man who many of you don't like his religion, don't like the positions that he has taken on many issues, is going to be rammed down your throat by the Republican elite? Do you wonder how, and why this is happening? Well, get used to it. True liberals were forced out of the loop by the Democratic party quite a while back. Now your party is doing it to you. Unless something is done by we the people, Conservative, and Liberal, we the people will never select an American president again.

Let's also not fools ourselves, if a pipline were built it would be soley be for the purpose getting that oil straight to the gulf to be put on tankers and sold overseas.

If we have to use the Canadian oils sands, let's build a refinery at the sourse to supply fuel that area of the country. The pipline does nothing for us, it only benfits big oil.

In Entitlement America, The Head Of A Household Of Four Making Minimum Wage Has More Disposable Income Than A Family Making $60,000 A Year

http://www.zerohedge.com/article/entitle...

Very interesting figures. The state run media and liberal politicians want you to think the rich and corporate America are stealing from you. Hah!!! Occupiers read this. We used to have mostly producers and consumers in this country. Now we have generations of non-producing takers. But don't believe it keep drinking the liberal kool-aid that plays the class warfare of the rich against the middle class. When the middle class is disappearing because the non-producing takers are taking everything we earn and live better then we do. Let's occupy the entitlement class where the real problem lies. Keep working middle class we need the money, and food stamps, and earned income credit, and free school lunches, and assistance for needy families, and medicaid, and free rent, and energy assistance, and etc.

-- Posted by rr3yv0 on Wed, Jan 18, 2012, at 7:58 PM

Rr3: "Why do Democrats oppose the requirement for a photo ID to vote? Because they want to cheat."

Me: Why do Republicans support the requirement of a photo ID to vote? Because they want to cheat poor people out of the right to vote.

There is very little evidence of voter fraud that could, or would, be stopped by the presentation of a photo ID. There is greater evidence of voter fraud via absentee ballots, yet Republicans do not mention that. That in itself casts doubt on their purported concern about voter fraud. Why don't they author legislation to clean up absentee voting, if they know that is where the most fraud is, and they want to end it?

Rr3, bless your heart, you need to start vetting the content of your posts before posting them, if you expect to be taken seriously as a proponent of right wing positions. You are suffering a credibility crisis as over, and over, your posts are proven erroneous. As the only regular poster from the right you can, and in my opinion should represent right wing positions that are based on truth. Would you not rather debate merit, than veracity?

-- Posted by Oklahoma Reader on Wed, Jan 18, 2012, at 6:08 PM

rr3,

I, too, support gun ownership.

However, the link you posted contains some pretty egregious misinformation.

Every household in Switzerland does not get issued a gun.

This little myth may come from the fact that every Swiss man must serve in the military for 300 days at age 20 where they are trained to shoot. After their service they are allowed to keep a gun and 50 rounds of ammo in case of a mobilization of troops occurs.

Statistics show that 1 in 11 households in Switzerland actually have a gun in the house.

Hi RR - sorry, I had to go to sleep.

Ways Wisconsin is becoming like a third world country under Scott Walker (although, I didn't way we were THERE yet, but that he was getting us there, to be clear):

* low economic development

* rising poverty rates

* unstable government

* raising rates of illiteracy

* rising lack of a middle class

* Small elite upper class controlling all the money & power

* Very large "foreign" debt (in this case, to the Koch brothers and others who are supporting Scott Walker and who will get their payoff later at the expense of Wisconsinites)

Koeller77 I'm glad you have experienced it and can clarify things but there is more to it then you care to see. Specifically how is Wisconsin like a third world country?

-- Posted by rr3yv0 on Tue, Jan 17, 2012, at 9:36 PM

Let's see...the recall was run by United Wisconsin. They received 10% of their money from out of state...and the majority in dribs and drabs from people like me.

As to the Voter ID, the Dems oppose this paricular law because it is the most stringent in the nation, and among other things, likely to be overturned as unconstitutional. Also, because the Repubs have proven that they want to manipulate the voters to makke it harder for Dems to win (please reference WI redistricting and the Repubs recent attempt to sue to change the recalls to take place in the new Repub.-heavy districts rather than where the people were elected).

I can do this all night, RR...I've been living it for a year, and fighting with my time and money to get that lying, uneducated, money-grubbing, power-hungry moron out of office so he can stop turning our state into a third world country. But I'll still be right, with my statements based on facts, and you'll still be slinging the same unfounded accusations that Walkers been trying to sell unsuccessfully for a year.

-- Posted by koeller77 on Tue, Jan 17, 2012, at 9:26 PM

Why do Democrats oppose the requirement for a photo ID to vote? Because they want to cheat.

-- Posted by rr3yv0 on Tue, Jan 17, 2012, at 8:41 PM

Koeller77 you mention out of state money. How much out of state money is funding the push for recall election?

-- Posted by rr3yv0 on Tue, Jan 17, 2012, at 8:36 PM

That's good they have vetted the phony signatures. They shouldn't have been there to begin with. The recall movement should police their own actions if they want to be on the up and up but it points to the intention to cheat anyway they can.

-- Posted by rr3yv0 on Tue, Jan 17, 2012, at 8:34 PM

Illinois raised taxes 66%. Has any tax increase cured fiscal irresponsibility? How come Wisconsin was able to balance the budget with no tax increase?

-- Posted by rr3yv0 on Tue, Jan 17, 2012, at 8:30 PM

Well if Walker is recalled and they go back to the status quo then they will have the same fiscal mess like Illinois and California. The reforms are working, people have a choice to be in a union or not. So it is not about the people in the state of Wisconsin it is about the liberals and the big government unions getting their power and money(that they steal from taxpayers) back.

-- Posted by rr3yv0 on Tue, Jan 17, 2012, at 8:18 PM

Rr...um, if you're going to quote news article, please do make sure that you also cover the follow-up...where the guy admitted he was making that up. And again, they have been vetted already for those duplicates and fake signatories.

I'll also say this: It wasn't the recall supporters who were signing fake names. Every single person who has admitted doing so - they've all be Repiblican Walker supporters. What does that say about them? That they're willing to commit felony fraud to support someone who already violated state law by refusing to negotiate with unions, violated our open meeting laws, and has spent more time OUT of state raising money than in?

-- Posted by koeller77 on Tue, Jan 17, 2012, at 7:44 PM

Oh and even Bugs Bunny. Ayhhh what's up doc. And one guy bragged about signing it 80 times.

-- Posted by rr3yv0 on Tue, Jan 17, 2012, at 7:32 PM

Well, rr, if Mickey and Adolf signed the petitions, they committed a Class I Felony. In addition, the 1million signatures have already been vetted once by United Wisconsin for fakes and duplicates, so I don't think you need to worry.

As far as property taxes going down, that's because he limited how much school disctricts could levy - and preoprty taxes pay the school bills up here. In addition, he cut funding to schools by 10% and we had one of the country's largest jobs losses in November. Not to mention, of course, the $300-$500 monthly paycut to all public employees means that more of them are on food stamps.

There were were approximately 2 million votes cast in the election and many Republicans I know have signed the petition to recall him. It's not just the unions, rr...there are many people who are NOT traditionally union fans who feel that what Walker has done is flat-out wrong.

Only Regressive petitions are valid rr3? Only your view of religion is valid? Only your view of science is valid? Careful there rr, you may be stepping on your God's toes. He may get angry when someone else pulls the "I'm always right" ploy.

;)

I hear that Mickey Mouse and Adolph Hitler signed the recall petition and they said they would count them. How many of them are dead or otherwise bogus?

-- Posted by rr3yv0 on Tue, Jan 17, 2012, at 6:32 PM

It's interesting in Wisconsin that property taxes went down for a lot of people, the state balanced the budget without raising taxes, I think they are seeing how the public sector unions were bleeding the state dry. We'll see if the unions get what they want or if the people do.

-- Posted by rr3yv0 on Tue, Jan 17, 2012, at 6:23 PM

Just like any Progressive rr3. Thankfully we aren't afflicted with the Regressive disease. How do you guys build for the future when you don't remember the past? Oh, I know, you don't. ;)

-- Posted by Oklahoma Reader on Tue, Jan 17, 2012, at 2:29 PM

Hey guys -

So, clearly off topic, but...Remember all that brouhaha up here in Wisconsin last year about union busting?

Thought you'd all like to know that after 2 months of signature collection, with a needed amount of 540,000...the people of Wisconsin have collected over 1 million signatures to recall Gov. Scott Walker!! :-)

-- Posted by koeller77 on Tue, Jan 17, 2012, at 1:34 PM

How did you remember that okr????

-- Posted by rr3yv0 on Tue, Jan 17, 2012, at 12:18 PM

The thought occurs to me that perhaps Ronald Reagan was the only known carrier of a contagious form of Alzheimer's disease. First it infected his cohorts involved in the Iran-Contra affair, who like he, could not recall anything that happened. It has since spread to most of the right wing folks in this country who can't remember things that President Reagan really did. ;)

An indigent client who had been injured in an accident went looking for a lawyer to represent him without cost. One lawyer told him that he would take the case on contingency.

When the client asked what "contingency" was, the lawyer replied, "If I don't win your lawsuit, I don't get anything. If I do win your lawsuit, you don't get anything."

rr3yvo,

It's so sad that your credibilty is so weak that no listens to a word you say. I've said it once and I'll say it again. Regarding your ever elevating contempt for Obama, if you had ever shown even a fraction of that contempt for Bush/Cheney you might have a least some credibilty. Until then........

THE DAMAGE OBAMA HAS DONE

http://www.vote.com/mmp_printerfriendly....

This was about a year ago so it only accounts for the first two years. We have accumulated debt at a rate more then 27 times as fast as any rate in our entire history. Wow! Now we know a year later that figure is even higher. Wowee! What will it be by the election? Want more of the same keep voting liberal!

-- Posted by rr3yv0 on Sun, Jan 15, 2012, at 11:57 AM

So we have a president that promised transparency that all the liberals bought as the truth and it was a lie. Even the open door committee had closed door meetings.

Tried to get the Republicans to join him in the destruction of democracy. The Republicans chose not to participate.

Passed a stimulus that created no jobs. Gave more to the rich then all previous presidents combined.

Forced a health care bill upon us that will ration health care to most Americans, mostly elderly.

He promised to change politics as usual. He did. There is more buying off of politician then we have ever seen before.

He has made racism worse with his constant class warfare. But anyone that makes that claim is a racist. Whaaat?

He has the liberals convinced the rich is the problem when he and the politicians in Washington is the problem.

We have seen what destruction that liberalism on steroids can do in just 3 years. It took the liberals seven years to practically ruin the country of Spain, the most recent election they voted overwhelmingly conservative. Wonder why?

Liberals think they have solutions but they have nothing. Maybe they could protest with signs that say,"Give more money to people who don't want to work!" or "Let's have $10 gas so we can save the planet!" or "Let's raise taxes on the rich so unemployment will go up and more people can depend on the government!" or "Let's oppose conservatism and capitalism(that works) so no one will prosper but us that are in charge!"

-- Posted by rr3yv0 on Sun, Jan 15, 2012, at 10:55 AM

And Nana you buy into all that political lying because if someone wants to do something right it is portrayed as starving babies, taking from the elderly, etc. If you don't know truth you can't see the lies. Right again.

What do you think?

-- Posted by news across on Sun, Jan 15, 2012, at 4:26 AM

It is you that doesn't get it rr3. The obstructionist Regressives through parlimentary manipulation are assuring that there is NEVER any recess. Don't tell me that Ronald Raygun, and the Regressives wouldn't have struck the same chord in the same circumstance LOL.

I don't like to defend the Obama administration because there is a lot about it that I don't like. However to me it is asinine for any one to place the blame ONLY on one party as you do, thus we quarrel.

I am always leary of those who boast that all that they support is right, and anyone that thinks differently is wrong. However, I am still scratching my head as to whether that stance results from ignorance driven arrogance, fanaticism, or something else. What do you think is the motivation? ;)

And since I won't be posting here for a week or so because I will be way, way, way out in the Outback, I want to share this video with you good folks. Its a tribute to my adopted country of Australia in honor of her upcoming birthday, Jan 26. I think it does a good job of describing Australia.

"I AM AUSTRALIAN"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jD3SkTyXz...

and while I am at it,

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lUp9WnLYe...

By the way, there are many first Australians who, even here in Sydney, live by the old ways. They have no permanent home but by law they have the right to sleep on any local, state, or federal land including all public building grounds, parks, beaches, ect. Many of them make a living as this gentleman in this video is doing. He will make a lot of money doing it too. Tourist pay well for the real thing. But at the end of the day, he will simply roll out a blanket and sleep as his People have done for over 40,000 years. He is living a traditional nomadic life but makes his living in a more modern way. I think its an interesting combination.

OKR,

I saw a drawing a wild back that made me do a double-take. It was a stone age man holding his main weapon -- a spear -- with which he put supper on the table so the babies could eat.

Next to him stood the same man dressed in a modern day suit with an atomic bomb next to him.

I think it very likely man will, very soon, wipe out the World -- if climate change does not significantly lower the human population before that. Sadly, the country most likely to do the wiping out of human life on Earth is the United States.

-- Posted by news across on Thu, Jan 12, 2012, at 1:36 AM

I second that News. It will happen. The only question is how near we will be to obliterating ourselves before we will be forced to socialism aka circling the herd.

-- Posted by Oklahoma Reader on Wed, Jan 11, 2012, at 5:40 PM

NanaDot

That was a really good article. The author's analysis is spot on.

I would only like to make one correction. Not all economists are Neo-classicalists.

I am a Keynesian economist when it comes to capitalism, however, her analysis reveals a truth that no economist can deny -- capitalism requires continually increasing consumption of resources and will collapse without the increasing consumption.

In my opinion, only a scientifically planned economy has the efficiency and equity a successful economy requires. Socialism is the kind of economy stone-aged man utilized and it worked very well. Everything was shared. The concept of personal ownership did not exist. I believe we will eventually have to evolve beyond the limits of capitalism and utilize the most efficient, fairest economic approach that mankind has -- socialism. It worked well for 97% of the time man has existed on Earth. Maybe its time we take a second look at this successful economic approach.

rr3 Grady County Oklahoma gave John McCain 73% of the vote in 2008. If you want to turn up a liberal in Chickasha (county seat) you would have to get a shovel, and head to a grave yard.

May I remind you that Oklahoma was the only state in the nation that every county went for the Republican nominee.

Actually you would love it here. It is the next best place to Heaven for folks like you. Would you be interested in a house swap? ;)

It was President Obama.

I don't know the Judge's politics and I would venture to guess you don't either. But I am happy she had the weapon and I am happy she had the courage to use it. She is alive, the baby is fine, and the bad guy is dead. I would say it all worked out rather well.

I read another story sometime back about some scumbag who had raped an elderly woman in the middle of the night. He stopped somewhere in the process to "rest" and then he promptly died of a heart attack right then and there. I found his death to be a bit of poetic justice and a much deserved death at that. I often wonder if he lay there on the floor gasping for his last breath as he watched helplessly while she stood over him...laughing at his please for help.

The People have a right to fight back against the bad guys. A gun is a big help but sometimes nature lends a hand too.

-- Posted by news across on Tue, Jan 10, 2012, at 4:07 AM

I'll try again rr3. This time you were even more vague when you said "Okr just listen to the news. Obama said if Congress wouldn't do it he would and Pelosi is happy he run roughshod over her party."

Obama said he would do what? What is/are the specific act, or acts that he will do?

Out with it man, for crying out loud. Are there not words in the english language to describe exactly what you perceive?

-- Posted by Oklahoma Reader on Mon, Jan 9, 2012, at 11:20 PM

Now the one that got away, they arrested him and charged him with first degree murder and then some liberal judge released him on $50,000 bond and made him promise not to bother the girl. Really judge!!! The best thing that could happen would be for him to try to break into that girls house again and she would blow him away. It would save the Oklahoma taxpayers a lot of money.

Three questions for Republican Legislators (State and Congress).

1 - Why the party does not want its constituents to have health care insurance?

2 - Why the party does not want folk to work---be employeed?

3 - Why the party supports discrimination in employment as a means to increase the number of employers. (SB 442)

Please advise,

Jimmy Carter boy I am looking forward to that we have the unemployment up there now all we need is high interest rates and higher inflation and we would have Jimmy II. Right on news. What about the lawless regime of Obama saying if Congress won't do it he will do it without them. That is not the way it is supposed to work he is supposed to LEAD congress not run roughshod over them. If Obama is reelected then those that vote for him will get what they deserve but sadly others will go down with them. Maybe Obama will handle Iran just like Jimmy did. Jimmy! Jimmy! Jimmy!

Oh yes OKR, that is the dream ticket.

I think your suggestion of Orly Taizt as attorney general is a great idea. As for Reich Santorum...perhaps we need to establish and create a new cabinet seat for him. I was thinking perhaps something suitable for a person like him, maybe Secretary of Propaganda or we could just put him in charge of Homeland Security.

-- Posted by news across on Mon, Jan 2, 2012, at 8:26 PM

Bachman/Palin that's the ticket! Orly Taitz as Attorney General, Rick Santorum, Secretary of State, and "The Donald" Secretary of Treasury.

Now there is a dream administration, that would bring real change to America, nothing like that paltry Obama change.

The world desperately needs another nightmare now that Kim of Korea has died.

-- Posted by Oklahoma Reader on Mon, Jan 2, 2012, at 11:17 AM

Yeah and photos OKR, lol.

I believe I saw that in one of the scenes of Mash the movie.

So...have you decided which Republican Presidential Candidate best reflects your personal vision of the direction our Nation's future should take?

I have to admit that Bachmann is clearly the best candidate. Really, she is kind of the candidate for everyone. She owns and operates a small business and she spied on the Internal Revenue Service on our behalf. Her husband has a radically new treatment for certain types of people who may feel they need treatment. And I gotta tell ya, in case ya missed it, her recount of how we all got to America and what motivated all of us, which was all exactly the same for all of our ancestors -- a chance to get rich in the New World (including Native Americans and African Americans)and how lucky we all are that our ancestors had this chance. Anyway, it was really good. Her grasp of American history is also spot on. She clearly should have been an historian. Fortunately, she is available for the job in the White House and I just can't wait to see her get there.

How about you?
