Missouri Valley College senior Richard Wick has earned NAIA All-America honors for the second year in a row from the American Football Coaches Association. A 6-foot-2, 230 pound defensive lineman from San Diego, Wick (92) was 12th in the nation with 17.5 tackles for losses -- including 6.5 sacks -- for the 9-2 Vikings, who shared the Heart of America Conference championship and reached the NAIA Championship Series for the second time in the last three years. Valley led the NAIA in pass defense (132.0 yards per game), was second in total defense (216.2) and fourth against the run (84.2). Wick was on the pre-season All-America list and was named to the all-conference first team for the second time. (Chris Allen/Democrat-News)
