Dessie L. Iliff, 83, of Marshall, died Friday, Dec. 9, 2011, at Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2011, at Weiker Funeral Home in Slater with Rev. Cliff Cato officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Corder. Pallbearers will be Alan Fenwick, Keith Fenwick, Troy Helm and Albert Link Jr. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to Southside Assembly of God Church in Marshall or American Diabetes Association.
Born Jan. 20, 1928, in Dunksburg, she was the daughter of the late Ira L. and Zella Van Meter Beall. In 1976 she married William E. Iliff who preceded her in death on Nov. 3, 1986. She was a member of Southside Assembly of God Church. She worked at International Shoe in Sweet Springs and retired in 1993 from ConAgra Frozen Foods in Marshall. She lived in Sweet Springs for many years moving to Marshall in 1984.
She is survived by two sisters, Gladys Fenwick of Marshall and Darlene Link of DeWitt, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters.
