Dorothy J. Ragle, 88, of Labelle, formerly of Marshall, died Thursday, Dec. 8, 2011, at Labelle Manor in Labelle.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2011, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall, with William W. Harlow officiating. Friends may call Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Ridge Park Cemetery in Marshall. Memorials may be made to Labelle Manor. Friends may sign the online register book at www.campbell-lewis.com.
Born Dec. 3, 1923, in Marshall, she was the daughter of the late Perry Allen Brooks and Zelma Opal Wilson Brooks. She was a graduate of Marshall High School and Missouri Valley College. She had lived in Labelle since the early 1980s, moving from Marshall and was a homemaker. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Marshall.
Survivors include two sons, William B. Ragle Sr. of Freeport, Fla. and Dan A. Ragle of Blairsville, Ga.; one daughter, Pamela Beers of Derby, N.Y.; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Doris Loseke, and one brother, Perry "Mac" Brooks.
