Sterling Thomas (Tom) Wyatt, 59, of Marshall, died Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2011, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 2, 2011, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall, with Elder Jean Davis officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Inurnment will be held at a later date in Ridge Park Cemetery in Marshall. Born Sept. 20, 1952, in Fayette, he was the son of the late Sterling Ray Wyatt and Juanita Williams Wyatt. He lived in Marshall most of his life and was a 1971 graduate of Marshall High School. On June 26, 1976, he married Judi Clause who survives of the home. He retired after 33 years from Marshall Municipal Utilities and attended Community of Christ Church in Marshall.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Sara Head and her husband, Jeremy, of Slater; one son, James Adam Wyatt and his companion, Mollie, of Marshall; three grandchildren, Wyatt, Keiton and Alison Head; one sister, Doolie Wyatt of Sedalia; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Nellie Thornton, and a brother in infancy, Ernest Wyatt.
