Greg Steinkuhler, 55, of Sweet Springs, died Friday, Oct. 21, 2011, at University Hospital in Columbia.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2011, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Sweet Springs, with William W. Harlow officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Sweet Springs. Memorials may be made to Sweet Springs High School. Born Feb. 8, 1956, in Sedalia, he was the son of the Glenn Steinkuhler and Helen Shay Steinkuhler who survive of Sweet Springs. He was a 1974 graduate of Sweet Springs High School and a graduate of Central Missouri State University in Warrensburg. He had lived in Sweet Springs his entire life and retired from Gardner-Denver in Sedalia. He was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church in Sweet Springs.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by three children, Nicholas Steinkuhler of rural Bosworth and Lacie Steinkuhler and Aaron Steinkuhler both of Sunrise Beach; one grandson; two brothers, Randy Steinkuhler of rural Sweet Springs and Chuck Steinkuhler of Sweet Springs; one sister, Vickie Akeman of rural Sweet Springs; and nephews and niece.
