Receipts:  1797    Last Week:  1877    Year Ago:  1757

   Compared to last week, feeders sold steady to 5.00 lower with a few
stick-out packages fully steady to firm.  Supply included numerous weaned
consignments, mostly weighing over 500 lbs plus a good test of yearlings.
Buyers were active with good demand.  Slaughter cows sold 3.00 to 4.00
higher.  Cows and bulls were 23 percent of receipts.  In the feeder supply,
steers and bulls were 60 percent of the run; heifers 40 percent.  Near
47 percent of feeders weighed over 600 lbs.

   Feeder Steers:  Medium and Large 1  350-400 lbs 160.25-165.00; 400-
500 lbs 144.00-164.50, fleshy 139.00; 500-600 lbs 130.00-148.00; 600-
700 lbs 134.75-143.00, fleshy 131.00; 700-800 lbs 124.00-137.50; 800-
900 lbs 123.25-138.75; pkg 912 lbs 125.00.  Medium and Large 1-2  400-
500 lbs 140.00-151.50; 500-600 lbs 134.00-148.00; 600-700 lbs 131.00-143.25;
700-755 lbs 123.75-141.75.

   Feeder Heifers:  Medium and Large 1  350-400 lbs 139.00-156.00; 400-
500 lbs 127.00-145.00; 500-600 lbs 124.50-137.00; 600-700 lbs 123.50-133.75,
fleshy 117.75; 700-755 lbs 119.25-132.50; pkg 811 lbs 122.75.  Medium and
Large 1-2  350-400 lbs 135.00-149.00; 400-500 lbs 122.50-142.50; 500-600 lbs
