   Compared to last week, steers and heifers sold steady to 4.00 lower
with weaned calves selling much better than unweaned.  Slaughter cows traded
2.00 to 3.00 higher on a good test of slaughter cows.  Feeder supply included
several bulls and unweaned calves in a quality run.  Cows and bulls were
35 percent of receipts.  In the feeder supply, steers and bulls were
69 percent of the run; heifers 31 percent.  Near 35 percent of feeders
weighed over 600 lbs.

   Feeder Steers:  Medium and Large 1  300-400 lbs 152.00-169.50; 400-
500 lbs 143.00-155.50; 500-600 lbs 136.00-151.00; 600-700 lbs 133.00-
142.00; pkg 718 lbs 136.00.  Medium and Large 1-2  400-500 lbs 140.00-
153.00; 500-600 lbs 134.00-144.00; 600-650 lbs 137.50-142.00; lot 714 lbs
thin 133.50; few 750-800 lbs 123.00-128.00.

   Feeder Heifers:  Medium and Large 1  350-400 lbs 132.00-139.00; 400-
500 lbs 123.00-135.00; 500-600 lbs 122.00-125.50, fleshy 119.50; 600-
700 lbs 118.00-124.25.  Medium and Large 1-2  400-500 lbs 122.00-126.50;
500-600 lbs 121.00-126.25, fleshy 118.00-119.00; pkg 670 lbs 120.00.

   Feeder Bulls:  Medium and Large 1-2  few 350-400 lbs 144.00-152.00;
400-500 lbs 130.00-152.00; 500-600 lbs 124.00-136.00; 600-650 lbs 123.00-
130.00; pkg 745 lbs 116.25.

   Cow and Calf Pairs:  Medium and Large 1-2  2-7 yrs with a few short and
solid, 900-1400 lbs, with baby to a few 450 lb calves, 1175.00-1625.00 per
pair; short and solid and broken mouth, 1050-1300 lbs, with baby to 180 lb
calves, 900.00-1175.00 per pair.
