Investigation continues after Tuesday morning arrest

A search warrant served by three local law enforcement agencies early Tuesday morning, Oct. 4, resulted in the arrest of one person.

At approximately 3 a.m., a residence on the 100 block of S. Tucker Ave. was served a warrant by the Marshall Police Department, Saline County Sheriff's Department and Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Officers seized less than 35 grams of marijuana as well as drug paraphernalia. An MPD official did indicate some seized items are often used in the manufacture of methamphetamine. Charges are currently pending as the investigation continues.
