Louise Williams, 80, of Marshall, passed away Saturday, Sept. 10, 2011, at Mar-Saline Manor in Marshall.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 15, 2011, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall, with William W. Harlow officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Sunset Gardens Cemetery in Marshall. Memorials may be made to Community Cancer Center. Born Nov. 9, 1930, in Marshall, she was the daughter of the late Lester Breshears and June Martin Breshears King. On Aug. 17, 1947, she married John E. Williams who survives of the home. She had lived in Marshall most of her life and was a charter member of Marshall Church of the Nazarene where she served on numerous committees and held several offices. She was a homemaker, loved traveling and anything related to crafting.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Linda Smith and her husband, Rick, of the state of California; one son, Kenny Williams and his wife, Gale, of Marshall; three grandchildren, Teresa Simmons of Sweet Springs, Marty Smith and his wife, Sally, of Brea, Calif., and Ken Williams II of Sweet Springs; four great-grandchildren; two step-granddaughters; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Cherie Smith and one sister, Maxine Skinner.
