Receipts:  564    Week Ago:  731    Year Ago:  674

   Compared to last week, steers sold steady to 2.00 lower; heifers 1.00 to
3.00 lower.  Slaughter cows traded firm.  Cows and bulls were 16 percent of
receipts.  In the feeder supply, steers and bulls were 53 percent of the
run; heifers 47 percent.  Near 37 percent of feeders weighed over 600 lbs.
There will be a sale on Labor Day.

   Feeder Steers:  Medium and Large 1  300-400 lbs 152.00-165.00; 400-
500 lbs 145.00-152.00; 550-600 lbs 136.00-142.50; 600-665 lbs 133.00-
135.00; lot 703 lbs 133.00.  Medium and Large 1-2  pkg 476 lbs 145.00; 500-
600 lbs 135.00-148.00; lot thin 552 lbs 144.75; lot 621 lbs thin 138.00;
665-700 lbs 126.00-129.00; 700-750 lbs 127.00-132.00.
