Kingsville Livestock Auction: Cattle Auction Report for 08/02/2011

   Compared to last week, steers steady to 5.00 higher; heifers steady to
4.00 higher.  Slaughter cows traded near steady.  Supply included high
quality offerings and reputation cattle but no load lots.  Demand good -
best for steers.  Cows and bulls were 16 percent of receipts.  In the
feeder supply, steers and bulls were 62 percent of the run; heifers
38 percent.  Near 36 percent of feeders weighed over 600 lbs.

500 lbs 147.75-161.25; 500-600 lbs 136.00-146.75, fleshy 131.75.50; 600-
