Lucille Toliver Muenks, 84, of Marshall, died Tuesday, July 26, 2011, at The Living Center following a long illness.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, July 29, 2011, at St. Peter Catholic Church, with Fr. Tom Alber officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Gardens Cemetery in Marshall. Memorials may be made to St. Peter Catholic Church or St. Peter's School Foundation. Friends may sign the online register book at www.campbell-lewis.com.

Born Feb. 20, 1927, in rural Saline County, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Toliver and Lillie Morrow Toliver. On Feb. 9, 1947, in Shackelford, she married Roy J. Muenks who preceded her in death on Dec. 16, 1961. She had lived in Saline County most of her life where she was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church. She was a homemaker, church volunteer and retiree of Banquet Foods.

Survivors include two daughters, Mildred Hitt and her husband, Jerry, and Joyce Rieth and her husband, Steve, all of Marshall; son- in-law, Keith Zinn of Marshall; eight grandchildren, Theresa Brown, Debby Herrick, Corey Zinn, Shelley Parkhurst, Tenecia Clause, Tony Rieth, Roy W. Muenks and Bryan Muenks; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Shirley Zinn; one son, Larry Muenks; two sisters, Belle Warman Bartels and Jewell "Mollie" Cromley; and two brothers, Carl "Buck" Toliver and twin Luther "Tuffy" Toliver.
