   Compared to last week, feeders lightly tested on another hot weather
market but with a continuing lower undertone.  Slaughter cows also lightly
tested.  Demand light to moderate.  Cows and bulls were 12 percent of
receipts.  In the feeder supply, steers and bulls were 53 percent of the
run; heifers 47 percent.  Near 28 percent of feeders weighed over 600 lbs.

   Feeder Steers:  Medium and Large 1  340-400 lbs 144.00-153.50; 400-
450 lbs 144.75-146.00; 450-500 lbs fleshy 136.00-140.00; 500-550 lbs
135.00-140.00.  Medium and Large 1-2  525-600 lbs 128.00-136.00; 600-
700 lbs 126.50-134.25; 755-770 lbs 123.00-124.00.

   Feeder Heifers:  Medium and Large 1  pkg 429 lbs 135.50, fleshy 130.00;
500-510 lbs 126.00-127.00; pkg 548 lbs fleshy 118.50; 600-650 lbs 120.00-
124.00.  Medium and Large 1-2  350-400 lbs 132.00-139.00; 400-500 lbs
122.00-131.00; 500-600 lbs 120.00-123.00; 600-650 lbs 120.00-122.00; few
700-750 lbs 118.00.  Medium and Large 2  450-525 lbs 116.00-120.00.

   Feeder Bulls:  Medium and Large 1-2  370-400 lbs 137.50-150.00; 400-
450 lbs 134.00-144.00; 500-600 lbs 122.00-130.00; pkg 607 lbs 120.00.
