Lillian Ann Cromley, 95, of Marshall, died Tuesday, July 5, 2011, in Marshall. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 7, 2011, at St. Peter Catholic Church in Marshall, with Fr. Tom Alber officiating. Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday at the church. Burial will be in Sunset Gardens Cemetery in Marshall. Memorials may be made to St. Peter Catholic Church or Fitzgibbon-Mary Montgomery Hospice in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall. Born June 13, 1916, in Nelson, she was the daughter of the late Robert Thomas and Mamie French Thomas. On April 13, 1946, she married Francis Charles (Frank) Cromley who preceded her in death on Aug. 19, 1998. She had lived in Saline County her entire life, living in Marshall since 1984. She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church.
Survivors include one sister, Dorothy Melies of rural Sweet Springs; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Mary Louise; four brothers, Walter, Robert, Ernest and Cordie Thomas; and seven sisters, Edna Mae McCoy, Mary Dennis, Elizabeth Finley, Mildred Goszweski, Lucy DeValle, Josie Dilthey and Kate Reinhoff.
