Ruben Abel Tinoco
Ruben Abel Tinoco, 15, of Waverly, died Friday, July 1, 2011, in Miami.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 6, 2011, at Victory Christian Fellowship in Waverly with Rev. Roger Nichols officiating. Burial will be in Waverly Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the church and memorials may be made to family choice in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Marcelino Tinoco, Cesario Tinoco, Augustin Tinoco, Apolinar Tinoco, Ramon Gordillo, Javier Diaz, Javier Fabian and Juan Garcia. Born March 12, 1996, in Marshall, he was the son of Moises Tinoco and Leonor Martinez Tinoco, who survive of the home. He completed 8th grade and was about to start his freshman year at Santa Fe High School. He participated in track, was going to be on the baseball and football teams and had been a member of the Boy Scouts.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by two brothers, Daniel Tinoco of Snow Hill, N.C. and Andy Tinoco of the home; maternal grandfather, Felix Martinez; paternal grandmother, Teresa Tinoco; along with several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Joel Tinoco.
