Diane Elizabeth Seig, 63, of Brunswick, died Tuesday, June 28, 2011, at her home.
Memorial services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, July 2, 2011, at Breshears Memorial Chapel in Brunswick with Gail Brown officiating. Inurnment will be in St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery in Brunswick. Honorary Pallbearers will be John B. Stuart, DeGayle Elliott, Chris Elliott and D.J. Elliott, Brent Dickerson, Jamie Bowyer, Rick Derenzy and Butch Gunn. Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. Saturday at the chapel. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice and may be mailed to Breshears Memorial Chapel, 207 W. Broadway, Brunswick, Mo. 65236.
Born Aug. 4, 1947, in Boonville, she was the daughter of the late Virgil Dean and Clara Elizabeth Strub Lockard. She graduated from Brunswick High School in 1965. She had worked for 20 years as an LPN, first at Pershing Long Term Care Center in Marceline and later at the Marshall Habilitation Center. She was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church in Brunswick.
She is survived by two sons, Jeffrey Seig and his wife, Sabrina, of Springfield, and Joey Seig and his wife, Jill, of Brunswick; one brother, Denny Lockard and his wife, Joanne, of Burke, V.A.; one sister, Karen Elliott and her husband, DeGayle, of Brunswick; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
