Receipts:  546    One Week Ago:  613    Year Ago:  1202

   Compared to last week, feeders, while lightly tested, had a much higher
undertone.  Slaughter cows traded 2.00 lower.  Cows and bulls were 29 percent
of receipts.  In the feeder supply, steers and bulls were 62 percent of the
run; heifers 38 percent.  Near 37 percent of feeders weighed over 600 lbs.

   Feeder Steers:  Medium and large 1  few 300-355 lbs 167.50-168.00; few
430 lbs 158.50-160.50; 525-600 lbs 140.00-150.00; 600-700 lbs 134.50-
140.00; pkg 708 lbs 129.25; part load 817 lbs 124.50.  Medium and
Large  1-2  340-400 lbs 155.50-174.00; 400-500 lbs 153.00-164.00; 500-600 lbs
138.00-148.00; 600-650 lbs 136.00-140.00.

   Feeder Heifers:  Medium and Large 1  400-500 lbs 136.00-150.00; pkg 525 lbs
130.00; lot 647 lbs 128.75; pkg 774 lbs 124.00.  Medium and Large 1-2  300-
400 lbs 142.00-153.00; 400-500 lbs 126.00-145.00; 500-600 lbs 124.50-133.00,
full 122.75; pkg 678 lbs 120.00.

   Feeder Bulls:  Medium and Large 1-2  450-500 lbs 143.00-154.00; 500-
600 lbs 132.00-142.00; 600-700 lbs 116.00-129.00.
