Milo R. Chamberlin Sr., 75, of Slater, died Saturday, April 9, 2011, at his home.

Graveside services with military honors will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 14, 2011, at the Slater City Cemetery with Rev. Robert Sisney officiating. Pallbearers will be Jerry Chamberlin, David Sanders, Roger Jolliff, Robert Bellamy, David Jolliff and Ralph Walker. Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association in care of Weiker Funeral Home in Slater.

Born Sept. 5, 1935, in Flandreau, S.D., he was the son of the late Lloyd E. and Evelyn Mae Bennett Chamberlin. On Dec. 5, 1968, in Rogers, Ark., he married Pearl A. Talmage who preceded him in death on March 15, 1995. He was a U.S. Army veteran and was employed as a welder and millwright for a number of years at W.B. Young & Company in Marshall.

He is survived by two sons, Milo R. Chamberlin Jr. of Rogers, Ark., and Greg Chamberlin of Mesa, Ariz.; three daughters, Diana Bellamy of Marshall, Virginia Schubert of Hughesville and Patricia Beaner of Rogers, Ark.; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and a brother, Rob Chamberlin of Rogers, Ark.

In addition to his parents and wife he was preceded in death by two sons, Brian Chamberlin and Jerry Chamberlin; a daughter, Gladys Farek; and a granddaughter.
