Dorothy Nadine Cunningham, 93, of Marshall Junction, died Monday, March 28, 2011, at Shangri-La Rehab and Living Center in Blue Springs.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, April 1, 2011, at Longwood Cemetery in Longwood, with William W. Harlow officiating. Visitation will be held from noon to 1 p.m. Friday at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall. Memorials may be made to New Salem Baptist Church or Longwood Cemetery. Born July 21, 1917, in Saline County, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Cunningham and Mabel Holder Cunningham. She had lived in the Marshall Junction community most of her life and owned and operated Cunningham Grocery Store at Marshall Junction.
Survivors include one daughter, Donna K. McLaughlin of Independence; two grandchildren; two great-grandsons; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, James Herbert, Leroy and Joseph Lenwood Cunningham.
